Yours truly has the honour this year of being Captain of the Monmouthshire Masonic Golf Society. I take over from Mike Quick at our next meeting the details of which are on the following notice.
To play it is not necessary to be the greatest golfer. As long as you have played the game, know something about golf etiquette, and are free on 15th April we would all love to see you. Bookings are via Mike Knight as shown in the notice.
Later in the year we have a set of (very) friendly matches with teams from the adjoining Provinces and these are open to all.
By the way, I have booked my Captain’s day to be on 13th September. It will be on the Old Course at St Pierre, and for just £35 will include coffee & Bacon roll, 18 holes of golf, and a sumptuous two course meal to complete a great day at a great golf course.
So please come and enjoy yourselves with us other “Golfing Masons” and book in asap

Good luck Craig.
Mon Mark Mason’s have been faithful attenders at the Mark District Grand Lodge of Spain’s annual meeting but this year was notable in that our PGM led a delegation of 32 plus wives and partners to the meeting. An enjoyable sojourn was had by all.
The Photograph show the intrepid travellers before the Festive Board got underway.
The Ladies had their own itinerary of events on the day of the meeting with everyone meeting up again for dinner later in the evening.
Just released by the Mark Benevolent Fund via Facebook:
Congratulations to the ladies of the Mark Province of Monmouthshire who received their MBF Patron Jewels and certificates at the Provincial Officers’ Mess.
Held on Sunday 21st February, the lunch also raised an additional £500 towards good causes in the Province.
Well done to you all.
