About to become the Mark Province of Monmouthshire’s newest Mark Lodge. The primary aim of the lodge is to embrace the 21st century and promote the wider use of electronic communications within lodges. Also to encourage and promote appropriate structures for the means of electronic communication within Mark Masonry in general.
Initially the lodge will meet twice a year … 1st Saturday in June and first Saturday in November and it is intended that whilst one of the meetings is to be held in the Province of Monmouthshire, the second one can be held across different Provinces and Districts. The lodge will act in a similar manner to an Education and Training Lodge dealing with various social media issues such as Email, Facebook, Twitter etc. which impact upon Mark Masonry now and in the future.
Applications for joining are welcome from Mark Master Masons from all around the world whose Mother Lodge is in accord with The Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons of England and Wales and its Districts and Lodges overseas. Enquiries can be made to the Lodge Secretary, W.Bro David Weston, on firstname.lastname@example.org
The Petition has now been presented at Mark Grand Lodge but we are open for new joining members.
The principal officers to be installed are:

The 23rd of March proved a momentous evening in the Mark Province of Monmouthshire. This was the evening that the secrets of an Installed Master were conferred upon Bros Richard Davies (Torfaen796) and Christopher Evans (Llantarnam1422), Deputy Provincial Grand Master and Assistant Grand Master in the craft respectively. This took place at a packed regular meeting of Torfaen Mark Lodge when the PGM took the gavel and opened Provincial Grand Lodge. He then took the chair of Adoniram and assisted by his Deputy, conferred the secrets upon them. It was a happy evening with lots of smiling faces all around. The first picture shows the PGM and his deputy in the foreground with W.Bro Richard (back left) and W.Bro Christopher. picture two shows W.Bro Richard with W.Bro Paul McGrath, the current master of Torfaen Mark Lodge and the third picture shows W.Bro Christopher with W.Bro Dennis John, The current Master of Llantarnam Mark Lodge.
The Noah’s Ark appeal is concerned with ensuring that modern life saving equipment, like defibrillators, are available in every community no matter how far away from hospital facilities. W.Bro Philip Moles has been fund raising to secure funds to place such a machine within his Hotel which is at the heart of his local community. The PGM and the Mark Province of Monmouthshire are only too pleased to be associated with such an initiative and accordingly a donation of £250 has been made. Seen here is the Deputy Provincial Grand Master handing the cheque to W.Bro Philip at Chepstow Masonic Hall.
